Haven’t Posted in Awhile….. So I will try to make it longish!

Hello Readers!

I know I haven’t posted in awhile, but I will try to make this one longer with some updates!

Ok. So here are some of my latest obsessions: ALLCAPS, Meekakitty, Merlin, Downton Abbey, and everything written by Kathryn Lasky!  So lets get started!

ALLCAPS is a band made up of Luke Conrad (of the Wizard wrock band Ministry of Magic) and Kristina Horner (of the Wizard wrock band The Parselmouths). They are awesome! I have been listening to MoM  and The Parselmouths for  about 2 years,  and when I found out that Kristina and Luke were in a band together I was so excited! I must say I love their sound, it’s on the techno side but they did come out with a acoustic album (Lowercase is the name of it) Anyways, check them out they are worth it!  Here is a picture of their latest album:

Meekakitty: Oh. Gosh! She is the queen of YouTube! she is so hilarious! Her video blogs are great  and she guest stars and producing in lots of other peoples videos. Check her out on YouTube Here she is:

 

Merlin: Next to Doctor Who, Merlin is my all time favorite show! I love everything about the show. It’s so good! I just finished season 3 and have been trying to catch up on season 4. It’s on the SyFy channel on Fridays (I think) I watched the first 3 seasons on NetFlix.  The whole show is so awesome! The cast is perfect! The show is about Merlin when he’s a young man and not yet a seasoned sorcerer and how he and Prince Arthur become friends. They  are like brothers in the show, with Arthur always belittling Merlin and Merlin always making fun of Arthurs high position. Their friendship is so great! and the actors are so fabulous at their roles. I highly recommend it!  Here is a pic of Merlin (Colin Morgan) on the right and Arthur (Bradley James) on the left:

Downton Abbey: Ah. Another British masterpiece! Amazing costumes and even  more amazing actors! It centers around the time in history where the worth of  titles was diminishing and having servants at your beck and call was becoming something of the past. It is told from the point of view of a rich Duke’s family and their servants. Season 2 just started last Sunday! Anyone who loves British dramas will not be disappointed! Kathryn Lasky: Have any of ya’ll seen that movie Legend of the Guardians:The Owls of Ga’hoole? Awesome movie btw. Well, It was based on a series of 15 books of the same name. They are so awesome! She gives great descriptions and her character development is wonderful, so far anyways. I am on book 5.  That series spawned a series about wolves in the same world of Ga’hoole. Its called Wolves of Beyond. I am currently on book 3 of that one. But I recommend reading the owl books first because you learn some things about the other series (The Guardians) but its only tidbits. Still it might ruin some things for you.

I sat on my brown wooden floor, but realized i really wanted to be in Ireland because the grass is so green there (or so i'm told) So i grabbed my bookshelf  that has my spelling book on it and My sister Evelyn (with her pink hair) said "awww that's cute!" "can i come!?" and i said " Catherine! i tag ye back!!!"

Well, the title really says it all! School started yesterday, btw for those of you who don't know, I'm homeschooled. And i know what you're thinking homeschooled well,that must mean you're like a genius or something,  Let's just go with  the something XD But it hasn't been bad. We started school a little early because my Mom is going on a trip for a little over a week and she wants us to get going now, so it'll be easier when she's not there. Though I really don't need her all that much just with a few things.OH! I have big news!!!!! (well, big news to me anyways :) drumroll please.............I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! *breathe just breathe* sorry but it makes happy. Let's see what else...... oh. I watched the Pan Pacific Championships, Ryan Lochte won 6 gold medals! Lochte and Nathan Adrian are my favorite guy swimmers. Rebecca Soni is my only favorite girl swimmer.But can i just say SWIMMING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2012 HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!! =-D

NANCY DREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out that there was an Nancy Drew- The Hardy Boys tv show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh!!! in the '70s!!!!!!! ahhhhh again!!!!! sorry but this just makes me sooooooo happy!!! i LOVE Nancy Drew!!!! and the Hardy Boys!!! so  I bought the First Season!!! can't wait to watch it!! i shall tell ya'll what i thought! or if anyone has seen it you can tell us what you thought about it!! just keep it clean! :)-Tricia
